there exists an initial demo of this bonus track on the 2008 N*E*R*D Seeing Sounds overseas re-release (in addition to the well noted performance by Pharrell Williams on track #11) in which Shareese Ballard of the Philadelphia based group Idle Warship is the soloist; also this demo version can be found on her most recent mixtape release entitled Box of Chocolates, however, after an initial pre-mix with Nashville's 247 Headquarters in conjunction with Mark Sounds in Los Angeles; I mixed the track with accapella hip lyricizm alongside co-production by Fra Dolcino using Abbleton Live 8! ¥€$

Poesie Musik has the very special honor to announce the release of a remix of a song known the world over, authored by no less than Sade. One of the prolific singer's most well-known creations, ‚Pearls‘ is given a deluxe makeover by German dance floor mainstay Timo Jahns, whose moody, melancholy personal sound fits perfectly with the sultry vocals on one of the crooner's most moving songs. 

Hailing from Göttingen, Timo Jahns has carved out a name for himself on the German party circuit thanks in part to an endless list of edited music and remixes on labels like Ponsactrilau, Underyourskin Records, Neverending, Cometomusic, Klang Gymnastik and 9Volt, as well as his own imprint FREUNDCHEN RECORDS, created for an intimate circle of few. 

This latest foray into the reworking of certain melodic masterpieces comes after Timo’s remixes of music by the likes of songstress Melody Gardot and Bon Iver just last year. For this special rendition of ‚Pearls‘, the producer has carefully lead the tune into deep-house terrains and turned it into a track just begging for summer afternoons and thoughtful chill-out sessions.
