Holy fcuk, have we got a set for you courtesy of Nandi from Indonesia. Trust me when I say that this set is a banger. It seamlessly blends various subgenres of House music into a smooth yet blistering journey that will leave you in awe.
You can get a sense of his style and influences. It's exciting and bold, and we need more of this. I love when a DJ stays true to themselves, which is what this set is. It's unique and sets out to shake the dancefloor, your living room, or where ever you digest our podcasts.
I'm thrilled to give you our 43rd instalment as we welcome the don, Nandi, to the Platform Minimal family.


Bio / 
Nandi is an Indonesian DJ who has a deep and searing passion for electronic music. He embodies this in the sets he performs.
His love of House music is influenced by Soul, Jazz, Disco, Funk, Minimal and Techno, which is audible in his impeccable mixing style.
He's no stranger to performing in front of small, medium and large crowds and always aims to take the listeners on a blistering journey of deep, stinking, nasty, bumping and funking sounds. He takes no prisoners.
Nandi is part of the House Cartel Collective that's made up of like-minded individuals striving to push the House and Techno sound within Indonesia and South East Asia.

Running the label @rhizome-seattle, he cultivates an exciting metaphysical space for talented producers worthy of the spotlight while his Makes Me Human parties have brought stalwarts of the minimal scene to Seattle including; Janeret, Varhat, and, Mihigh, to name a few. This mix showcases his deep knowledge of (ro)minimal, maintaining the slickest groove you've heard in a long time.

SoHaSo gives you five goodies from the Lowlands, to celebrate summer. Something old, something new, something for everyone.

First up is the b-side to the house classic everyone in the Benelux knows: Mary Go Wild. The flip to to this epic club single from 1996 is a stripped down and rather moody groove affair. "It's gonna be allright", Fung-Kee sings over some melancholic strings. Indeed it did.

New material comes from label boss Nuno dos Santos, who makes us look in the mirror of the past. That time when synths like the Alpha Juno ruled the radio waves. Straight up club music for all those cats who shed a tear over classic Ame-records.

Remy Unger from Den Haag is proper old school. Besides a very skilled dj, he's also an experienced producer, with releases on Belgian labels like Global Cuts and Wonka. Westkust brings us back to those days. Sun drenched, piano-driven housemusic with a great punch and beautiful strings.

Bushwalking by Belgium collective Mayuku has a bit of a similar vibe. With it's dubby baslines and echo-ing melodies it sure unlocks the same summer feelings.

Closer “Do We Have A Cosmic Connection” by Far Out Radio Systems is a lifted from his album from 2020. The sun has gone down but the pavement in the city still radiates the heat of the day. That kinda vibe.
