Focusing on a different genre this time.. One of the earliest genres that I found myself enjoying was dubstep, and this is true still today, especially after finding the original roots of the oldschool UK scene, Burial is an artist I will never forget listening to for the first time. The focus on heavy basslines and grittiness of dubstep before brostep came along is something that stands out for me and I hope I emulated that well in this album.

Created the art in Blender using a few royalty free assets I found via 3dassets.one - pretty good search engine for 3D assets with public domain licenses.

Before Anyone Else

Hello once again, been a while. Crazy times we're living in now, a possible room temperature superconductor, aliens possibly exist.. and have been kept hidden... and promising medication that can battle the worst... A lot more advancements soon to come I can imagine, as long as we are careful ;).

Of course, an alien themed DnB EP, hopefully it's not too out there, been working on this for a while now, one of my project files even got corrupted so I can never work on one of them again :D - But all is fine, I am happy with the end result, Two Faced being probably my best one yet.

Over with my first year of college too, taking a gap now, so expect somewhat more frequent uploads. Got another collaborative album which isn't my usual stuff so look out for that in the next few months...

While making my previous album I found I still had a few issues with mixing, and definitely my melodies - so I decided to go crazy with automation! Very glad I did because this was incredibly fun to work on, and absolutely one of my better mixed tracks.

Slowly getting those melodies down, and starting to really have fun with more automation too - unfortunately I keep forgetting to save all my good synth settings before messing about and figuring things out, resulting in me losing what I liked, and forgetting how to get back there xP - so I'll need to reflect on my workflow a bit more it seems.

Otherwise, fairly small album with a bit more "experimental" stuff - and a techo/dance track that I'm pretty proud of, hope you enjoy!

I find I am more engaged with my workflow and creation processes whenever I am attempting different genres and styles, makes sense as I am unfamiliar with anything I haven't done before so I'll be paying more attention. 

Along with practicing different melodies, I may try and focus on singles for a bit, and trying out even more different ideas in order to incorporate even more techniques to help out with my future projects!

I create music using Linux! I use Ardour as my DAW. Other than my first 3 songs which were made using Logic Pro X, and FL Studio.
I use GIMP for all of my album art.
