Fresh from the recent success of “Makes Me Happy” & “Amberjack”, that saw Dan Be and Marc Brauner make their names on the imprint once again, Happiness Therapy continues a standout run of releases this December, with a new and long awaited four-track offering from label-founder Crowd Control.

“I collaborated with the south korean singer & artist ÜJEAN on this EP, with Marc Brauner remixing one of the tracks. I wanted to explore diverse influences, most of which had never been included in my music in the past. It's a versatile piece - and one that I'm very happy with!” - Crowd Control.

Crowd Control has been heading up Happiness Therapy since 2018, flying the flag for France’s underground music scene ever since. An established DJ, producer and event curator, his label has gone from strength to strength, boasting an already solid back-catalogue of productions, with many more to come !

Oliver Dollar debuts on Rekids with disco-fuelled three tracker, ‘Strings for Life’ EP. 

Initially appearing on Rekids as a remixer in 2012, Berlin-based Oliver Dollar returns to Radio Slave’s imprint with the Spring-time funk of his ‘Strings for Life’ EP this April. 

The rich, stiring strings of the title track open ‘Strings for Life’ with real soul. Warm, euphoric and built atop a rocksteady discoid groove, it’s a track that’s familiar, new and classic all at the same time. ‘School Daze’ follows with rhythmic shakers, funk-infused chopped guitar and bass licks while nifty vocal samples and cosseting chords provide the hooks. Closing out is ‘Sophisticated Funk’ which sees Dollar double down on the disco with an epic, emotive beatdown. 

With releases from Radio Slave, Eddie Fowlkes, Cromby, Dave Angel, Star B and Alinka on Rekids in recent months, Matt Edward’s imprint is as fresh as ever and Oliver Dollar’s ‘Strings of Life’ EP joins the catalog in fine style.

The aptly titled “Back to love” EP starts off with one of Sneak’s most intimate productions to date: ”Love can make it happen”. Built around an ever-evolving vocal loop, and dreamy strings this track is deeper than deep with the percussion matching that meditative energy, with the grunt only Sneak can bring.

Forest Walker is back with a special EP called "Secret Garden", presented by Paris based producer Joss Moog.
Joss Moog is known for his skill in sampling and providing unique grooves crafted through his own signature formula.
This EP is no different and we are happy to present this one to you.

Starting off with "Secret Garden", the title track of the EP.
Subtle tribal influences mark this deep groover. 
The catchy chordloop catches your ear straight away, and the soulful vocal adds perfectly to the overall feel.

Forest Walker owners, Flapjackers, felt this was the right track to remix for them.
They provide their own take to "Secret Garden", adding their own twist to the already deep chordline and taking the vibes even a bit deeper to provide the perfect addition to the original.

Third track, "Streets Is Talkin", Joss takes us back to that classic jackin style he is known for.
Providing a deep and rolling bassline, straight jackin percussion and skippy melodies.

A colourful palette of flavors in this Secret Garden, enjoy our fourth release presented by Joss Moog.

Pool Attendant are an emerging DJ / Production duo from London and the South West. Formed back in 2017 the pair met at uni and bonded over similar upbringings surrounded by music. Comprised of Scooter Tardelli-Reid and Otto Morgan, they've become known for shelling out a number of truly eclectic sets ranging from Disco, Asian Funk, Afro & Italo to Breaks, House, Techno, Acid & a further wide variety of Electronic Music.

This is all reflected in their new EP "JETTYMASTER" which will be out next month on Enzo Siffredi's WIRED sub-label "Below The Belt". The three track EP features two white label disco-edits 'MISS M" & "Disco Power" as well as an Acid-infused Italo banger, aptly entitled "Italo-Wonderand".

BIO:

Co-founder of the French label Ondulé Recordings, Joss is also known as one of the most active artists on Robsoul recordings on which he has released top notch releases as his well-known series of "Rooms".

His musical experiments brought him to elaborate a particular sound and atmosphere that can be perceived in each and every set and production he does: funky enough to make it into Jackin’ house sets, hard enough to wrap around some tech, and groovy enough for those soulful types to grab on for dear life.
