House Keepers Records ends another fine year with a second superb Various Artists compilation. Don’t Forget To Go Home features eight bustling tracks of club-ready house from label regulars and newer associates such as Rob Stillekens, Diego Lima, and Fenky.

Florida based House Keepers Records hails from Orlando but has now built a global reputation. As well as throwing popular block parties, the label also brings something fresh to the US scene through its carefully curated radio shows and releases. The team behind it has a forward-thinking vision that has
injected real innovation, not least with March's essential 12 track collection, Bad Boyz.

Slugg featured on that compilation and kicks this one off in style with 'For Da Peeps.' It has a driving drum and bass combo with classic vocal samples lighting up the groove with real attitude. Too Heavy Crew live up to their name with the raw and edgy tech house of 'Gimmie,' and Fenky's 'Raymond' sinks
into a deep, well-swung groove that's warmed through with neon chords.
Copasetic is another returning artist whose brilliant '2 Step' builds the pressure with kinetic drum programming and chattery vocals. There is a real force in 'Properly' by Diego Lima and another timeless vocal sample that really stands the track out. Jay Roman offers the excellently punchy house of 'Shake Baby' whilst Phoenix Jagger's 'Run Away' is a sax-laced house tune with soul and party spirit. Rob Stillekens closes down with a stripped-back basement sound, and seductive vocal on the fantastic 'Try To Understand.'

BIO
Born in Alicante and currently living in Vitoria, Josu became interested in electronic music at the age of 16, but it was not until his majority that he decided to jump into the cabins and two years later enter fully into the world of production.


Faithful to his underground style, based on Tech House, with great influences from House of the 80's and 90's, his sets are full of groove, melodies and forceful sounds, focused on the dance floor, with a single goal, to make dance.


In his facet as a producer he has more than 100 references for sale, published in major international labels such as: Elrow Music, Moan, Noexcuse, New Violence, Criminal Hype, Be One, La Pera Records, Oblack, Go Deeva, Pauls Boutique, Happy Techno, Little Helpers, Low Groove, Natura Viva among many others.


Josu has become a regular at the Beatport TOP, highlighting his number one track "Chance" for several months. This has led him to rank among the 100 best artists Minimal / Deep Tech in 2017 and 2018, a position in which he remains this 2019.


His hard work in the studio has led him to have his music supported by great artists such as: Loco Dice, Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Luciano, Paco Osuna, Neverdogs, Stefano Noferini...


As a DJ he has performed in some of the best clubs in Europe such as: Pacha (Ibiza) , Bora Bora (Ibiza) Sonora (Bilbao), 93 Feet East (London), Kremlim (Lisbon), Barraca (Valencia), L'antirouille (Montpellier), Wateke (Valencia) among others. And it is in 2019 when he crosses the pond, making his first tour of Latin America.
