Kadent was born on the outskirts of Berlin. He started producing and DJing music in his youth. He became part of the 2nd generation of club culture in the late 90s and early 2000s - in 2001 he moved to Berlin. Starting with Berlin techno and moving on to house music, his sound became slower and slower over the years. Today, Kadent feels at home in downbeat - his style is organic, emotional, deep, driving, bass-heavy and filter-sweeping. 

In the years since 2001, Kadent has built up a network of musicians, producers, DJs and label operators from and in the scene and uses this as a platform for releasing his own productions and participating in events. Over the years, he has remained true to his credo of DJing with vinyl.

In recent years he has released on Baikal Nomads, Kabelkiste, Inclusive Records, NXXN and Kontrapunkt. His last release was on cassette with the beautiful title "Mountain Dub". While working with labels he has produced tracks such as Jeanette – Porque Te Vas (Kadent Love Is In The Air Reedit), Leonard Cohen – Traveling the light (Kadent re-edit), Acid Pauli – Drei (Kadent All In Deep Bums Mix) and other nice Wölkchen. 

In this vinyl-set happiness merges with deep, spherical sound and discharges more and more into driving beats.

born in 1972 in south west of france.
Passionated by all sounds since child (blues, soul, R&B, rock, funk, disco, rap, electronic  (from berlin in first^^) 
I became a vinyles dj at 20 years old , in 1992, playing into nature areas , forests, private parties. Educated by Dj Nerate (UK) from famous Spiral Tribe team, i'm  proud to have been a part of these first influences @ early times of techno movement in france with very small audience (but high quality^^^one) , playing house, hardhouse, techno, hard techno, trance , psytrance... sharing the sound also in thailand & nepal  (92 to 95) & goa beaches (92 to 97) , jungle or breakbeat, during 10 years
After a break of 20 years..I came back on the desks , that time on digital materials from summer 2022 & at 50 years old..(a kind of revival !) 
I like to improvise with all the avalanche of new stuff that i hunt & receive  each day from some precious friends. But i love also to build some storytelling using the prods made by all the artists i adore.
Downtempo or midtempo (even high tempo), house, slowhouse, deephouse, hip house, electronic , deep beats,psytrance or chillhouse & even sometimes with melodic or else .
My eclectic knowledge & my singular way to mix make my personnality , & in first my way to communicate & share the love , groovy & Deepness most of time.
I'm always opened from all labels requests & i was honored  to make podcasts for some  labels or friends like @octorecords @vodoom @templeofthedown @slomosensual @hekske&magicwishtapes @planetibiza @downtempobaby @artydal @秋分🌾 Autumn Equinox, @djleep (elysium cast) , lalaland from ladj, & @ajabtaal  .
