B. Riley is an artist from Florida, USA and CMND CTRL is his new label making great moves having enlisted artist contributions such as Tim Xavier, Alexi Delano, Ray Kajioka, and Orion to the project thus far.

Remix duty on the fifth EP titled CTRL005 is the magical Madrid-based producer and Non Series label head Psyk providing a new take. His music can be found on Tresor Records, Luke Slater’s Mote Evolver, Len Faki’s Figure, and he has collaborated with peers like Reeko and Pascual.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the remix of “Enter The Ring” with its bouncing groove. Using a rubbery, warping modular tone to great effect, this abstract dance floor jam has haunting elements wrapped up in a well-crafted piece of raw and quirky mechanics.

A highlight set from this year for me and my USA Debut, the amazing Ayesha invited me to play Nowadays in Brooklyn NYC earlier this year in March. it was an honour to play and a huge mile stone especially in such good company alongside my good friends coco and Ayesha. 

this set really represents the different sides of how my sound has developed over the years. it was amazing opening the club and building the energy, starting with loads of dubbed out uk techno percussiveness and the final hour filled with loads of 2 step, electro, and breaks trying to showcase alot of classic uk sounds to The NY crowd, shouts to everyone who came from the beginning also to Eva, Joey, Sam and Andre and the rest of the crew I met out there, and of course to Nowadays and Ayesha for having me across the pond.

This is a little Club Edit of Barkers "Look How Hard I've Tried" I did, because I love the synthline of the original but wanted to play it in a club setting.
