Four tracks of techno pressure from Spanish heavyweight Kwartz. Since 2011, Kwartz has been steadily building a renowned discography of powerful and rugged club cuts. The “Fast Focus” EP, his first appearance on Setaoc Mass’s label series SK_x. It is a prime example of this deep, dark and driving sound: from the peak-time grind of “Impulse” to the dank, atmospheric echoes of “Haram.”

37 of the hottest names of the current techno scene have donated a brand new unsigned track, where all the sales and streaming funds will be directed to NGOs to provide support and assistance to earthquake victims both in Turkey and Syria.

We are grateful for the global unity of the techno scene for such an important cause.

"The Algorithm Landscape EP" by Joton is a stunning example of the artist's mastery of dark techno and ambient soundscapes. 

The EP opens with "Antiformal", a hard-hitting track that sets the tone for the rest of the album with its driving beats and futuristic sound design. "Abduction" follows, building on the intensity of the opening track with its pounding bassline and hypnotic rhythms.

Stepping Stone ( Ft. LUĐØ ) It is a collaborative track between Joton and one of his students, in this case, it is with Catalan artist Ludo. An exercise in atmospheric Detroit techno.

The title track, "The Algorithm Landscape", is a standout moment on the EP, showcasing Joton's ability to create rich and atmospheric soundscapes. 

The EP closes with "Dissonant Echoes", a brooding track that takes the listener on a journey through a desolate landscape of broken synths and distorted rhythms.

Based in León (Spain), Joton has meticulously honed his distinctive techno style, blending modern innovation with a classic sensibility that resonates with enthusiasts across the globe.

Beyond his creative endeavors, Joton has made significant contributions as the founder of Newrhythmic Recs, a platform that has tirelessly championed both national and international artists for over twenty years. Notably, Joton's influence extends far beyond Spain, as he has graced stages in more than 30 countries, leaving an indelible mark on the global electronic music landscape.

As a tireless and prolific creator, Joton has had his work published on prestigious labels such as Fabric, Modularz, Quartz, Odd Even, Symbolism, Planet Rhythm, Raw Raw, Dynamic Reflection, and Skryptöm. His tracks have been played by renowned artists including Ben Klock, DVS1, Rødhåd, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Oscar Mulero, Surgeon, Truncate, and Go Hiyama.

In 2015, Joton released his debut album, "Casting Out Nines," a work that received critical acclaim and established Joton as a force to be reckoned with in the techno world.
