Today, we are proud to have a local DJ, new to the scene, and ready to take Montreal by storm.



Joumana (@joumanaofficial) discovered the electronic music world in 2016 through friends and fell in love with it. Music has always been a part of her life, having learned to play the piano and to sing as a child. Her love for music and dancing led her to want to control the decks and to eventually produce her own music.

This mix embodies this deep ambiance she strives to set. It is an airy, progressive, and rhythmic set which has uplifted us this morning. Seamlessly moving through dreamy melodies and tribal harmonies - we felt the intensity throughout.

Deeper Sounds is very proud to launch its first ever Fundraiser.

We have invited a selection of some of our favourite Artists & Brands from around the globe to help us raise money for the National Emergencies Trust Coronavirus Appeal.

The National Emergencies Trust (NET) launched their Coronavirus Appeal to unite the nation and help those most affected by the recent coronavirus outbreak.

They work with local distribution partners such as community foundations and local charities to ensure financial support gets to the individuals or organisations that need it most.

We have set up a donation link via Just Giving so that all funds made during this fundraiser will be sent straight to the National Emergencies Trust.

Joumana is one of the fastest rising DJs in Montreal’s underground scene. Born in Canada to Lebanese parents, her journey in music started at an early age with the piano and a general passion for music of all styles and influences. Her passion for electronic music emerged when she discovered its magnetism in 2016, ever since then her commitment and talent has carried her on to play at some of the best venues and events in Montreal like Stereo, PY1, and Piknic Electronik.

Eyes on the horizon, she embarked on her journey as a producer. With a community of talented friends around her and a fire in her belly, the future holds nothing but promise for this young artist.
