I wrote this track as a tribute to a close friend of mine, DJ Dirty Boy Mike, who passed away. I wanted to incorporate all of the sounds from the 90's that was on the level of what Mike liked to play back then. The track consist of a long intro and a long building breakdown which was always on the forefront of what Mike loved to play.

Tony and I played open to close in the Little Bar at EOS Lounge in Santa Barbara. The theme was 80's retro and house and that is what we did. I haven’t released a set in a while but I really played a lot of my current favorite music and some really firm new directions / sounds for me - a mix of broken beat and uk influences, often switching from melodic and vibey to bass-y and spattered with choppy vocals throughout.
