Limitless by name, limitless by nature. This long-awaited third artist album from Free-Spirit Records main man Journey aka Jay OM delivers nine tracks of pure psychedelic cosmic energy that have already been tried and tested on dancefloors all over the world. 
Killer collaborations from psychedelic trance aristocracy Nirmal (‘Sonic Integration’), Razzek (‘Sense of Self’), Tron (‘Blast’ and ‘Scratch’), Hypnocoustics (‘Kinesioöptic’) and Feat: Savage Circuit on (‘Mahavishnu’) ensure there’s more variety on this infinite endeavour than many an inexhaustible main dancefloor.
Tracks like ‘Flying Spirit’ and ‘Mahavishnu’ ensure things are kept on a suitably euphoric psychedelic tip, while the seemingly endless mind-twisting samples and punchy driving basslines promise to keep any dancefloor on their toes and reaching for the stars. 
The Goa edits of ‘Flying Spirit’, Kinesioöptic’ and ‘Mahavishnu’ add new school Goa transcendence and energy to this already superb aural feast, however it’s the immense ‘Beautiful Star’ that truly shoots you out into the galaxy for one final eternal time.

Free-Spirit Records returns to its roots with this deep, dark and downright dirty compilation full of raunchy acid basslines and captivating cosmic melodies mastered to take you on a mission to another universe and hold you captive. Each of these banging ‘Cosmic Tales’ brings its own blazing unique dancefloor vibe and story to tell, for psy trance veteran Strophoria has hand-picked a truly stellar selection of psychedelic symphonies to start the year with a blast.
Kicking off with the explosive ‘Controlled Perception’, Mexican maestro TRON and Glitch combine forces to become Data Error, creating a driving and edgy beast of a track that somehow harnesses just the right qualities of dark and light. D-ther’s ‘Shellshock’ quickly gets twisted and grungy, but its euphoric synths save it from being stuck in the trenches and take it to the next level, perfectly paving the way for Merlin’s Apprentice to come in with an electrifying remix of Journey OM and M-THEORY’s ‘Five Grams’. This rocking remix of an already epic track from the two Italian psy trance masters is probably the closest thing many of us will get to five grams of psilocybin under lockdown.
Lucid Mantra & Hashashin’s ‘Goat Trance’ is a welcome reminder that this business of dance music shouldn’t be taken too seriously. If it’s visions of cute baby goats frollicking to fluffy trance you’re after then you’ve definitely come to the wrong place, as these cosmic billy goats are hard, fast and dangerous. M-THEORY & Nukleall get political with the awesome ‘Psy Pizzo’, before ADVANC3D Feat: Norion blows us right out of the solar system with ‘Interstellar Mankind’. From goats to the psychedelic mafia to hyperspace, this VA has everything covered.
Things get seriously psychedelic with El Mahico’s ‘Brainhacked’ as the magical one propels our brains out of our bodies, splattering them all over the ceiling with this absolute odyssey of a track that’s guaranteed to take you up a few levels to light speed. Just when you thought things couldn’t get any freakier, JourneyOM & Endeavour’s ‘Synthphonnet’ storms in with dancefloor destroyer written all over it, as this immense penultimate chapter will have you reaching for infinity. The final yarn in this gripping saga, Mantra Flow’s ‘Grimshow Circus Freaks’ is suitably hard and dark with lashings of acid, concluding these cosmic tales with a ripping anthem for the 2020s.

Giampiero ‘Jay’ Mastino has been DJing and producing for 2 decades under the aliases of Jay OM, Journey, Omsphere, Sonic Wave Control, The Wayfarers and, in collaboration with Japanese maestro Cylon, Keewl.
In January 2019, he merged the solo projects, Jay OM, Journey and Omsphere under one stage name, JourneyOM.
Jay forged his earliest psychedelic-rock influences playing guitar in local bars in Milan in his younger days. His romance with the decks beginning in the late ’80s working for a local radio station, where he was given the opportunity to spin his first records.

With that love firmly in place, the move to London followed in 1998. Soon thereafter, he started DJing professionally as Jay OM in 1999. In 2001/2002, he studied Sound Engineering and Music Technology at IMW, London, before beginning his solo production projects under the names of Journey in 2003, Omsphere in 2009 and Sonic wave Control in 2011. Since 2016, he has collaborated with the Japanese maestro Cylon for the project Keewl.
With his own trademark style, Jay has become renowned for his producing abilities and he plays his own tracks at festivals and parties, over forty countries across five continents. He has released five solo albums:
Journey ‘The Man Who Sold The Time in 2007’, Journey ‘Through The Mirror’ in 2011. Sonic Wave Control ‘Sixth Sense’ in 2012; Omsphere ‘K‘ag Bak‘tun’ in 2013. The fifth solo album was released in late 2017: ‘Limitless’ – a resounding success. The 9 tracks (3 solo and 6 in collaboration) are timeless classics and remixes are to be released by various artists, 5 of those on 4 November 2019. 
In 2018, Jay entered the film business, and composed Omsphere ‘Just a Plastic Bottle’ for Marcia Thompson’s film about plastic pollution - the winner of 5 film festival awards so far. 
Jay has produced multiple EPs under all his alter-egos for Free-Spirit Records and other record labels, such as Green Tree Records, plus tracks for various record labels and generated the compilations ‘Free-Spirit Volumes 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7’ and ‘Reawakening Volumes 2 and 3’. Jay also oversaw the compilation of Amaluna (UK) 'Lunar Phase', released in December 2019, and will oversee the compilation of Strophoria (Belgium), to be released soon. 
Jay released ‘Five Grams’ the first EP under the name JourneyOM on Free-Spirit Records on 20 January 2020.
Jay also runs Killah Mastering, arranging, mixing and mastering for multiple artists across various genres, as well as mastering almost all the 80 Free-Spirit Records releases from 2005 until time of writing. 
As a final string to his bow, Jay is a successful party promoter, holding Free-Spirit Records label parties around the world and running Implosion events in London for eight years. Since 2012, he has been responsible for promoting one of London’s most acclaimed fiestas, TRIBAL VILLAGE – A Psychedelic Adventure.
