This was a really great collab and we are super happy with how it came out! We didn't use any VST Synths in this song, and there are only a handful of VST effects. @lechefolife made the original idea which was nothing but the lead. It actually didn't change that much throughout production. I created the bassline and drum pattern, and then Leche just took off. He made most of the song in like a 3 day period 0.0! From there, I did a lot of mixing and structure adjustments. I changed the start alot and added in the piano/strings section after the first drop. I also made the cover art once it was done. Hope you enjoy!!

I got an email back in January from this dude I had never heard of asking to collab. I went to his SC and he had like 19 followers so I prepared myself for the worst. To my surprise, he was really good! We started sending mmpzs back and forth on Discord and it was sounding pretty good. Then one day @fyrebreak sent over the first version of the drop. I was speechless. I immediately knew that this was going to be a winner. Throughout the whole process Fyrebreak kept impressing me with his mad production skillz. He definitely did most of the work as far as composition and structure.  About a week later we got @joelle-jackson-13 on board. She was awesome! She sung a low layer and a high layer, and alone they are both incredible but together… :ok_hand:

The song itself was almost finished (besides the middle section) in February, so we started working on the music video. That was a massive project and I had no idea how much work it was going to be when we began. Fyrebreak made most of the ship models, and I did the camera motion and the scenery. I learned soooo much about blender and just 3D stuff in general. The video took about a month of at least a few hours of work each day to create. @dsvr_beats helped me a lot with the grass and flowers. It was rendering basically nonstop from March to the end of July (except for when I was playing Fortnite :p). I mostly used my GTX 1080ti, but for a few weeks I had an additional 1050ti in there. There are a few things that I would have done differently if I were doing it again (cough the waterfall cough), but I’m just happy I learned those things for next time.
Overall, I am incredibly proud of how this project came out, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with @fyrebreak and @joelle-jackson-13. We hope you like our song!
