Joy’s apartment is nocturnal pop music from the Gothenburg docklands.
A voice with presence mixed with organic beats, wrapped up in acoustic
instruments as well as electronic precision.
Joy’s apartment lingers in what others would call the setting.
All the beauty we don’t have time for, the texture of the second to last seat
on tram number three in the depot, or the difference in lapse rate between the street and the pub. Experiences we have without really noticing them.
We move between light and darkness, between a feeling of community and loneliness. Everything is in transfer. Everything is a journey.
