created for the Foreign Family Collective discord's : Discord.wavs challenge (Sam). The challenge was to create a song that you would feel nostalgia for in 2014. In 2014, I was just getting into creating electronic music. I listened to a lot of Pogo (Nick Bertke)'s music. He made melodic house/trip-hop that often used a lot of samples. But often, he made more minimalistic sounding, atmospheric songs, with interesting transposing chords. That was the sound that I attempted to capture here. Thank you for the opportunity!
