“Arrels” is a Valencian word which means “roots” (Valencia is a mediterranean region of Spain). And roots means, among other meanings, the fundamental part, the source or origin of a thing. 

So, it could be said, that my roots are the land where I grew up, my childhood friends and, above everything, my family. They are my source, my origin and my fundamental part. Because of them, I am who I am and as I am, for good or bad.

For these reasons, my first starring vinyl, it had to be dedicated to them, to my roots, or my “Arrels”.
BG and MC are the initials of my grandparents’ (and at the same time of my parents) surnames. 
Bou Gimeno and Maso Castello are four words which have been alongside me for my entire life. And they will keep to my side until the end.

This is the better way that I have to show them all my respect and grateful for everything that they give me and to make that their memory keep alive when all of us are gone. 
When someone take this vinyl and put a needle on it, even though they don’t know, they will be listening a part of me, of my family, my friends, my roots, my “Arrels”.
