This has always been one of my favorite vocals.  Ina Wroldsen may not have been named on the record, but she wrote the lyrics and melody, and legend has it, recorded this on the first take.  Of course, Calvin Harris and Disciples did an amazing job on the arrangement and production as well.   But this is my take on the naked vocal.  Enjoy!

It has been a lifelong dream of mine to play this song.  Beyond any other piece of music I have ever heard, this composition by Yngwie J. Malmsteen has inspired and lifted me up.  Through college and life, I listened to it before every exam, before dates, big events, etc.  It has always given me incredible confidence in the face of my own insecurities and the unforgiving criticism of the world.

This is a sample of what I play at larger EDM clubs, with deeper driving beats and a mix my own originals and remixes, and my fav tracks by other artists. I use the keytar sparingly, about every 5-6 songs, as its more about keeping the groove going. I don't know why, but right then and there I knew I needed to do a rave-techno remix of this song.  I don't even remember what he was dancing to, because all I heard was this!  LOL

I've always loved the original DU HAST, and it still hits as hard as ever.  But I needed an EDM version to spin in clubs.  I created the vocals with a German Voice Over AI engine, and I was able to manipulate the speech into singing for the bridge using a vocoder.  The female vocals are my own voice through a Billy Eilish AI voice simulator.  All the music is original too, so it's a complete remake.  Enjoy!

Nathan Evans' minimalist version of this classic sea shanty is justifiably addictive. But I needed an EDM version for my sets.  Some restructuring of the verses was needed, and I manually created the "rolling" swing feel on the verses with warping in Ableton.
