This record was created over the span of 6 months, from January to June, 2022.

Blurt is about errors, glitches in life and in consciousness. Finding peace in the chaos, and drifting into dreams.

Here I'm exploring more beat led themes as well as ambient/experimental electronics.

The gear used was a Tascam portable recorder, Korg Electribe Sampler, Tascam Portastudio 414 MKII, Modular Synthesiser, Elektron Digitakt, Roland TB-03, Microphones and Ableton Live.

Lillerne returns from its summer hiatus with a wonderfully recorded and mixed live set from Ben Bondy’s crash830 moniker. Recorded at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn in December of 2021, this set has all the trappings of Bondy’s project of “warped tape indie rock sketches,” but presented in a remarkably more hifi and lush manner for a live performance. Deeply catchy pop moments buried under layers of chorusy guitar and simple drum patterns. Detouring at times into blissed out atmospherics, “floor” always returns to the catchy hook and an undeniable breakbeat. “rast,” which comes with maybe the biggest of both—is up there for song of the year in my mind. Timelessly beautiful stuff yet again from one of my favorites doing it right now. Edition of 100 professionally duplicated cassettes.

"Rozumiiu" is translated as "I do understand" (Ukrainian). The idea is after B. Spinoza's famous saying: "Not to laugh, nor cry, neither curse but understand". 

This means that understanding is what opposite to emotions and emotions are what mislead us in this or the other way. That is, rational understanding is what helps us not to be misled by the nature of things and our habits...
