House Music dj and recording artist Dj Aakmael is a dj /producer who creates some of the deepest and rawest house tracks of today’s Deep House scene. His dj mixes contain the perfect blend of hard hitting deep house instrumentals as well as smooth vocal tracks.

Aakmael has graced the dance floors of About Blank - Berlin, Fáklya Klub - Budapest, Good Room - NY, Bossa Nova - NY, Output - NY, TBA - NY, Motor City Wine - Detroit, Soundtable - ATL, DC clubs Flash, 18th Street Lounge and DC Eagle and played alongside Frances Harris, Dj Spinna, Dj Sprinkles, Patrice Scott and Kai Alce.

Aak's music has been released on respected dance labels such as Scissor & Thread, Freerange Records, Axe On Wax, Release Sustain, Kolour LTD, Hizhou, Monologues, Morris-Audio, upcoming releases on Dogmatik, NDATL, Rainy City, his own imprint Unxpozd and others. Aakmael’s remixes also has made the rounds of clubs and radio shows worldwide, still preserving that deep underground sound.

Manuel Darquart | Suspect LDN Launch | Low Profile Studios

Born in the UK and based in Verona, Italy, Patrick Gibin started his label Blend It! Records in 2011 by releasing the first of his Black Aroma edits EPs under the moniker of Twice. His distinctive touch in editing obscure, often overlooked jazz-funk and boogie tunes is well represented by his releases on labels like Razor n Tape, Sounds Familiar and Salsoul Records.

Patrick's own words on the mix:
"Missing the Dance" was the drive for this: a mix of boogie favs, tracks I would love to play & hear on a system in a club and some forthcoming music soon on vinyl.

Roll up! Roll up! It's the weekend and we have a set ready to blow your socks off. Rahaan has been involved in dance music since the 80's and now maintains a presence as one of the hottest and innovative selectors on the circuit. From house to disco, soul to funk and all the way back again he has moved from strength to strength. Growing up in Chicago he was schooled from a young age and spent a large amount of time honing his craft at house and loft parties under the watchful eyes of the godfathers of house. 

From cassette tapes to dance crews Rahaan has always been at the forefront of what's hot, a truly inspirational selector with a strong sense of style and presence.

A shared ethos of playing 'the music we love most' has brought this pair together. The night began 6+ years ago in a sweaty northern quarter basement with a red strip light. They've shared a bill with the likes of Bicep, Mall Grab, Honey Dijon, Floating Points, Heidi, Josey Rebelle, Moxie, Mood II Swing, Felix Dickinson, Octo Octa , always setting the vibe right. They've played for Warehouse Project, Zutekh, Percoloate plus many other parties across Manchester. they were also the first residents at High Hoops. More recently you can catch them holding down residencies at Cottonopolis, The Refuge and also making several guest appearances at bars and clubs across the city.
