Nico Parisi is up next on Bonzai Progressive, delivering another superb slice of progressive goodness. Fresh off the back of his remix for Night Shift Master's Gravity, Nico certainly knows how to churn out quality vibes. For many years he's been at the forefront of dance music as both a DJ and producer. It all started with a DJ gig at the infamous Atmoz club, from there he enjoyed success playing at Belgium's top venues as well as travelling the world. He has also brought his skills to many festivals with regular appearances including Bonzai Retro, Legacy Festival, Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop and a host of other notable events. His foray into the production world started with a demo he sent to Antler Subway which was met with success when he saw his tracks championed across the world by the likes of Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Cox, Armin Van Buuren and many more. After a period of time with EMI he signed an exclusive contract with the legendary Bonzai Progressive (Bonzai Records) where his brand of smooth, deep, progressive vibes would shine. Nico now boasts a hugely impressive catalogue of original works and remixes which continues to grow with every expertly crafted construction.

Nico's Original Mix intros with a pulsing bassline and mesmerizing pad that rises up alongside an ethereal arpeggio. Nice and chunky kick drums lead the drum arrangement as slicing hi hats join shuffling percussive elements creating a steady rhythmic flow. The track digs deep, luring us in with subtle melodic tones that captivate and intrigue. Gated synths greet us on the break adding an extra dynamic to the sound. A moderately tense affair with cascading themes and a hypnotic prowess that is not to be missed.

01 The Midnight - Kids (PROFF Dub Remix)

The third and final single from our forthcoming "The Midnight Remixed 02" album showcases a remix from PROFF, the one and only artist featured on this release to have also appeared on the first installment of the 'Remixed' series. More specifically, PROFF's interpretation of The Midnight's "Days Of Thunder" (under his Soultorque guise) proved to be a standout from the last edition, so it seemed well-advised to give the Russian phenom an opportunity to reinterpret one of The Midnight's equally beloved, but more recent productions. The result, a "Dub" take on The Midnight's "Kids," is an exceedingly groovy and suspenseful progressive house anthem that pays homage to the late-night, noir-influenced side of The Midnight's songwriting.

Following his single ’There Is Peace Beyond’, which saw support from Lane 8, Dosem, and Edu Imbernon, prodigious producer Nox Vahn (FKA Fairchild) now releases his double-cut 'Brainwasher / Walking With Giants’.

A standout track of Above & Beyond’s recent warm up set at ABGT350, with its foreboding spoken word verses and incomparably dark builds, ‘Brainwasher’ is set to be a DJ staple this winter. Described as “an ode to dance music, partying, and clubbing as a form of escape from the Brainwashers” (i.e. one's daily distractions), Nox Vahn’s latest captures the emotion of late night warehouse raves and foggy memories.

Moroccan based progressive producer Jaafar Boukhari makes his steps back through our PHW division through his Jeef B moniker.
