Toru Takeda

2008年。渋谷で二人は出会う。音楽を通して理解を深めた二人は共にパーティーをスタートさせた。プロのパーカッショニストであるJonathan PaetsはDJとセッションする事で彼らのプレイをより一層生命力の溢れる音楽へと変貌させた。
 
最初のパーティーは『Honeydew Lounge』。(Rooty) UKのレーヴェルFIERCE ANGELSよりサポートを受けるTomo AsahinaとToru TakedaがスタートさせたLatin & Funky Houseのパーティーである。Jonathan Paetsの参加によりラテンテイストのパーティーはさらに人気を得た。2008年より2010年の間開催されRootyクローズと共に幕を下ろす。
 
また同時期に同じくFIERCE ANGELS DJであるDJ SHU-MA、Toru Takeda、そしてavexの人気パーティーHOUSENATION専属DJであるYUMMYと共にIBIZAの音楽を招致するパーティー『IBIZA FEELING』(Rooty)にもパーカッショニストとして参加する。
 
他、多国籍DJで構成されたパーティー『UN』(Rooty)ではToru Takedaと共にオーガナイズも行い、様々な人種やセクシャリティーを一つのコミュニティーとして完成させた。
 
近年ではToru Takedaの所属するDJチームLucky StarBoysのパーティー『Lucky Star』(AMATE-RAXI)にもレギュラーで出演し、より多くのオーディエンスを歓喜の渦に巻き込んだ。
 
以上はToru Takedaと共有した経歴であるが、他数多くのパーティーに出演していた事で彼の実力が確かである事がわかる。
何よりもパフォーマーでありながら、卓越されたコミュニケーション能力でフロアとオーディエンスを繋げ、笑顔を引き出す事が他のパフォーマーに無い彼特有の長所ではないであろうか。音楽への愛情と尊敬は国を離れても受け継がれ、彼の再来を待ち望む声は未だに変わらない。

ジョナサンとは僕がプロデュースする東京・丸の内にあるP.C.M.というレストランラウンジのパーティーにて共演しました。彼の叩く激しくもしなやかなティンバレスと、僕のラテンハウスのセットで会場は大いに沸き、踊り、楽しみました。また一緒に高らかに「音」を鳴らす日を楽しみにしています。
