A big influence on the music E.V. has made comes from jazz and blues records from his parent’s music collection he heard whilst growing up. This is also why a strong 90s music and hip hop vibe can be heard in the lyrics as well as instrumental parts of his songs. While making this record E.V. tried to capture and show the unique feeling he got when listening to this musical background.
 
Album ‘’Imperfect World’’ will reveal E.V. special reality which is made based on young person’s views on things that are happening besides him – boy growing into a man, right and wrong choices.
E.V. shows how young person’s negatively heightened and somewhat blamefully sharp reaction is formed against all of these processes in the society – propaganda, racism, social inequality. Seeing a lot of imperfections in the surrounding world, young people who don’t feel the strength within themselves to fight it burn themselves in non-essential things.
E.V. says ‘’I made this album as my business card. It is something that represents me, what I am and my current views on the reality.’’
 
Lielu iespaidu uz E.V. veidoto mūziku ir atstājuši bērnībā dzirdētie džeza un blūza ieraksti no vecāku kolekcijas. Tāpēc ir dzirdama spēcīga 90'to gadu mūzikas un hip hopa ietekme - gan dziesmu tekstos, gan instrumentālajā pavadījumā. Veidojot albumu, E.V. centās notvert un parādīt klausītājiem to unikālo sajūtu, ko viņā radījis šis mūzikas fons.
    Albumā "Imperfect World" E.V. atklāj savu īpašo realitāti, kuru veido jauna cilvēka uzskati par notiekošo sev blakus - zēna tapšana par vīrieti, pareizās un nepareizās izvēles. E.V. parāda kā veidojas jauniešu sakāpināti negatīvā un itkā nosodāmi asā reakcija pret notiekošajiem procesiem sabiedrībā - propogandu, rasismu, sociālo nevienlīdzību. Redzot lielas nepilnības apkārtējā pasaulē, jaunieši, kas nejūt sevī spēku ar to cīnīties, sadedzina sevi sīkumos.
Kā saka E.V.: "Esmu šo albumu uztaisījis kā savu vizītkarti - ko tādu, kas pārstāv to, kas esmu, un man patreizējo skatpunktu uz realitāti.”
