this is how I met Zo. Well, I KNEW Zo, but I had never MET Zo. I was a fan, and loved listening to the 90s compilations him and Phonte put together all the time. After Phonte and I had worked on 4evermore, we became friends and would chop it up from time to time. Phonte called me on this and said they needed someone to play the Barry White role on this cover album. No question. DONE. I learned it and was really amazed at the simplicity in Barrys vocals, because I grew up loving the song but never noticed the details. It was a lesson in simplicity. All hail the maestro.
