Deaths of Despair: A Conversation with John Auerbach on Fatalities from Drugs, Alcohol, and Suicide

In this episode of JPHMP Direct TALK, Les Beitsch, MD, JD, and Ron Chapman, MD, MPH, chat with PHAB Communications Manager Teddi Nicolaus about how public health accreditation is driving the use of Quality Improvement and Performance Management at health departments. Can sound waves heal our bodies and minds? There’s a growing belief that certain holistic healing methods such as sound therapy do lead to positive health outcomes. In my previous podcast episode, host Elena Vidrascu examined the physiological responses we have to audio stimulation, by understanding how our ears and brains process information received audibly through sound waves, and then looking at the relationship between our brain waves and our health in an effort to introduce you to sound healing.
