Biography

Power, energy, intensity. These three words defined Shadowside’s career path very well. With 3 albums out, tours in 21 countries playing in front of a total audience of over 100000 people, the band is nowadays the rising star of Brazilian Metal scene.

Formed in the sunny city of Santos, Brazil, the band got attention in its early years for their attitude and passion on stage. Founded and fronted by Dani Nolden, considered by both fans and media as one of the most powerful and unique female voices ever heard, they released a demo EP, praised by the local Metal media and helped build a loyal fanbase after a few intense live performances. Such buzz created high expectations for their debut album “Theatre of Shadows”, released in 2005 in Brazil, at that time considered one of the best records ever released in the country. The result was a tour supporting Helloween in Brazil and a quick run through the United States, where they started being called by the fans “Brazilian Metal Hurricane”.

However it was on the second album that Shadowside became a reality. Being one of the best selling Metal albums in Brazil and appearing on several “Best of the year” lists, the tour in support of Dare to Dream album included several cities in Brazil, USA, Spain, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Romania, consolidating the band as a name to be remembered in the worldwide Metal scene.

In late 2010, Shadowside went on a long European tour as legendary W.A.S.P.’s special guests. The nearly two months long tour included Italy, Spain, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, England, Scotland, Wales, North Ireland, Ireland, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia and Finland.

In early 2011, the band supported Iron Maiden in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and took the opportunity to introduce to the crowd their newest material, Inner Monster Out. Produced, mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström in Gothenburg, Sweden, the album features guest vocalists Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity), Björn "Speed" Strid (Soilwork) and Niklas Isfeldt (Dream Evil) on the title-track.

Recently released worldwide, the album is already a turning point in the Brazilian Metal music history and is receiving high praise. Inner Monster Out brings a heavy, bold, aggressive and intense sound.

With love for making music, courage to take risks and pursue their dreams, Shadowside are once again ready to hit the Road and unleash their “inner monster”.

BLACK EYES - SparroW

J.P. Krom is a soloist musician, guitarrist and singer creator of Astrological Metal style. J.P. Krom’s new album is going to be released ON 2017. He defines his musical style as "Astrological Metal ", because the main subject, the leitmotif of his creations are astrology, with which aims to raise awareness more deeply superficially what is known about this old ancient humanity knowledge in the mass media. Each song is based on an astrological concept, using the archetypical essence of horoscope signs, planets, stars etc. As the ancient civilizations did (for example greek-roman culture). J.P. has participated in bands such as Sector 9, Arkaos and Denun (the highlight with this band for J.P. was opening the show for Therion in Santiago in 2012, with a crowd of more than 5.000 persons) among others. His first soloist work and first production is "Classical Covered" being the electric guitar the protagonist with adaptations of pieces of classical music as “Für Elise”, “Turkish March” and “Hungarian Dance” among others. Subsequently he produced two albums, called Darkness Darkness Covered (2011) and Darkness Covered II (2012). In these albums J.P. did adaptations in a gothic metal style of different artists. In late 2015 he finished a campaign of crowdfunding to contribute to finalize his new album.
Nowadays J.P. is playing live in different places of Santiago with the band he formed at 2015 called  "J.P. KROM BAND" . Metalheads and musics lovers of Santiago have received with joy this new metal proposal in Chile(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4OanzGpl80), unique in its style in the whole world The band has new dates for gigs this and next year in Santiago and other cities of the country. J.P. is preparing as well the release of his new soloist album with original songs.
