Following our latest remix release with Discosteps and WAPO Jije on remix duties for DJ Christian B's "Find My Way" EP, we have our next guest mix with Radic The Myth  of Johannesburg, South Africa for your weekend listening.

As we've mentioned recently, we have an upcoming original EP with WAPO Jije as well called "How Deep Can You Go". The EP is due to come out by the end of next month. We're happy to say this one will include 2 beautifully deep tracks by WAPO Jije, along with remixes provided by Radic The Myth and Matt Masters of Freerange Records.

After a year of curating The Sunday Supplement, I’ve decided to open the doors to some of my favourite DJs and producers, to bring their own flavour by way of The Guest Mix Series.

To get the ball rolling, I’m delighted to welcome @jonmanley host of the long-running hOUSEwORX show on D3EP Radio Network, which celebrated 500 episodes last September.

With his roots planted in 90s UK house and garage, Jon was shaped by the South West underground dance music scene and he ran his own nights like Pulse and RAW, including residencies in Salisbury, Bristol, Exeter and beyond. He invited 4 of his friend to participate to his musical journey:  Hatelate the French house prodigy edited on and Ondule Recordings, Ryutaro and GO AKA Dj Lulu and DJ Gas, the Japanese rising stars of underground house edited on Gourmand Music Recordings and Frosted Recordingsand lastely Nouskynousk and his funky goove and French house touch, part of the gourmand family for more than 3 years now and also edited on MoodyHouse Recordings.

Deejay/producer, Chicago House purist, JR From Dallas draws his influences from jackin, deep and tech-house, but keeping that 90's house oldschool beat.

His tracks have been played by the finest's underground house djs such as Mark Farina, Phil Weeks, Hector Moralez, 1200 Warriors, Nick Holder, Roger Sanchez …

In 2007, he launches his label GOURMAND MUSIC RECORDINGS signing essentially american artists but also european talents. Gourmand's roster includes Giano, Cubase Dan, Tommy Largo, Bart Ricardo, Masss and Dave Dubbz just to name a few.

In 2011, Phil Weeks discovers him and signs him to Robsoul Recordings where he released a successful EP. That same year, JR From Dallas entered the family of the legendary american label TANGO RECORDINGS

JR From Dallas is now an established artist known for his unique Jackin sound. You can also find JR's music on Farris Wheel Recordings, Greenhouse Recordings, Maracuja Recordings, Phobic Recordings, Funkfield Recordings, Kolour Recordings…
