Some artists just breathe music all their lives. JR Kenna coming from a musically gifted family is such an artist.

At the age of 10 he started to discover he had a passion to rap, soon after his interest changed into Reggae/Dancehall music where he is at his best. Mid 2014 he makes his appearance into this scene and participate on the Benelux Reggae Contest in the Belgium Antwerp which he ended as second best. This leads to many performances in and outside the Netherlands, such as the big festivals Zwarte Cross and Heineken Music Hall where he shared the stage with reknown artists as Gentleman, Kenny B, Maxi Priest, Turbulance, Micah Shemiah and also again as a support act for hit artist Gyptian.

June 2016 JR Kenna launches his EP ‘Here I come’ produced By Area 026 Music.

The distinctive sound of JR Kenna embarked on a long list of collaborations with reknown artist releases like:

Kalibwoy, Fajah Lourens, Childsplay, Backsnap, Freddy Moreira, Rass Motivated, Dj Chuckie, Sjaak, Stepherd and Dj Jack & Lewis.

JR Kenna is a versatile artist that also adds his love for Urban Dancehall to his musical genres. In the fall of 2017 he signed a record deal with Titan Capital Records.
