Introducing our good friend and fellow Podcast founder of Soul Room Sessions - Darius Kramer... stoked to have Darius back with us with a dope mix for Series 3. Enjoy... and heres a little Bio below for those of you know dont know Darius.

Playing other peoples music for other peoples enjoyment since 1993.

Darius is a self proclaimed "House Addict". He fell in love with the house sound as a teenager living in Montreal back in the early '90s when he would stay up late on Friday nights and record a dance mix show on Montreal radio. He was hooked from then on. He then proceeded to start mixing with one tape deck and a CD player and never looked back.

When he moved to Vancouver in the late '90's, he started buying records almost daily and spent most of his free time at his favourite record stores at the time, Bassix and Mekanix records. Over the next few years, Darius held various residencies and ran 2 club nights in Vancouver, playing alongside such talent as Lawnchair Generals and Johnny Fiasco, as well as playing at numerous after hours and raves. After getting tired of both the late nights and politics in the scene, he decided it was time to hang up the headphones in the early 2000s, but the love of house music still burned inside of him as the years passed.

In 2013 he decided he wanted to get back into DJ'ing and purchased a basic Pioneer controller and started to collect digital tracks again. Over the past few years Darius has been busy making a name for himself in the underground scene with numerous guest mix appearances around the world on such labels as House Salad, Reason2Funk, Uglyhouse, Little Routine, Selecta Music, Leven Underground and House Jet Radio just to name a few. He also started the very popular "SPEED BUMPS" mix series which showcases his love for hip hop and jazz as he shows his versatility as a DJ by blending mixes of nu jazz, hip hop instrumentals and acid jazz flavours reminiscent of Mark Farina's legendary series, Mushroom Jazz.

He also launched the hugely successful "Soul Room Sessions" podcast showcasing the soulful and jazzy side of house music and downtempo beats with guest mixes from some of the biggest names in the game and the series is still going strong!

In 2017 Darius got his first taste of out of town gigging playing live shows all over the West Coast from his hometown in Vancouver, to San Francisco and Oakland. Stay tuned for much more from him in the near future!

Steve-O AKA Steve Solorio is a Northern California Native hailing from Sacramento. He began his musical journey into House Music in 1991 when he stumbled into the Magical Rave Scene of early San Fransico. He purchased his first set of turntables in 1997 and has been on a quest to move dancefloors ever since. Over the years he’s played alongside some of House Music icons such as Barry Waver, JT Donaldson, Rasoul, Olivier Desmet and Mark Farina along with S.F. hero’s Garth formerly of Wicked, as well as Solar of Sunset Sound System.  
Steve-O pours passion into his sets that are sure to move you physically and spiritually. With a keen ear on the groove his commitment to quality House music never waivers. As a Cofounder of Family Groove, a collective of heavy hitters in Northern California he’s built a solid reputation as a DJ, and looks to the future to share his passion with everyone he can.

Sean Dexter has been a DJ since the mid 80’s and has played in the USA and Canada. BayAreaBeatbox was Founded in 2011 by Sean Dexter on Pure Radio Holland and is currently on Underground Kollektive Radio as a 3 hour show that has featured guests from around the world like Paul Johnson, James Curd, DJ Vivona, David Duriez, Jay Tripwire and many others. In 2020 BayAreaBeatbox Live was launched on Mixcloud doing live broadcasts and in 2021 BayAreaBeatbox live started a monthly residency on the legendary underground station Fantasy FM in the UK. Beatbox Records was Launched in 2016 featuring productions from Sean Dexter. Along with his own label Sean has produced tracks and remixed artists on Selekta, Plusquam, Red Robot, Oh That’s Good Music Villa65, SoulJack Digital, and the famed Deepen Sound in Vancouver Canada. Sean’s music has been remixed by Jay Tripwire, Vernon Douglas, George JJ Flores, Sen-Sei , Jason Merle, Henry Navarroandothers.
