JR Lyric was born in Mountain View, CA and followed in his father's footsteps with a passion for music. From age five, JR was singing and dancing for his friends and family. As far back as he can remember entertaining was his first obsession. When JR was 15 his charismatic personality did not go unnoticed when he was scouted to dance with Flo Gig, a San Francisco hip hop dance squad who have been seen dancing for legendary rappers like E-40 and Dem Hood Starz.
JR said ever since he was young and sneaking into his older brothers' room to listen to Tupac and Snoop Dogg albums, he knew being a performer was all he ever wanted to do in life. Looking up to stars like Tupac and Michael Jordan, JR appreciates the value of a man who can makes it with all the odds against him. JR is currently working on his mixtape in Los Angeles, CA.
