The opening section of “Tome of Stars”, titled “Item 1: Anthesis”, comprises 21 poems that chronicle the emergence and flowering of a romantic relationship, structured around the botanical metaphor of anthesis, the period during which a flower blooms. 

“Leaves of Stars” gathers moments from personal memory, mythology, and literature to create a layered tribute to the beloved, using the motif of sacred trees as a unifying image. The sonnet moves between real places (a tree outside her dormitory, a banyan on a volcanic island), and mythic landscapes, such as Tolkien’s Valinor. These trees serve both as physical settings for intimacy and as metaphors for enduring love, spiritual connection, and cosmic beauty. By drawing connections between natural beauty, shared memory, and mythic narrative, the beloved is constructed not just as a person remembered, but as a presence who is woven into the spiritual and symbolic structure of the cosmos itself. The final couplet unites these threads into a vision of transfigured union, immortalized in writing and through the celestial symbolism of “leaves of stars.”.

Xăm bích tay , làm phạm pháp , thích giật đồ ,đéo làm ăn 
Thích thì chém chết mẹ ,nó , nhẹ bị thương xéo hàm răng 
Đời giang hồ quan trọng nghĩa khí , nó thích một mình solo
Đừng làm lố , kiếm nó lấy số ,gia đình nó trùm popo 

Thì coi như, có quyền lực , thằng cặc này sợ ai đâu 
Phần sự nghiệp đâm thuê chém mướn , còn kéo dài, đến mai sau 
Nó bị bắt hay còng tay , luôn bình tĩnh ko kháng án 
Chơi liều là keep it real , ko phải xăm nhan rồi dán trán 

Cán bộ là củ lồn ? Thằng nào trong đồn  đánh nó 
2 tháng sau nó ra trại giam,  rượt cháu bác hồ ,tay đánh chó
Cái thằng lồn nào dám thách thức ,khi ra trại thách lần ngay 
Ôi chết cái con đĩ mẹ : chúc mừng mày ,sinh ra lần hai !

Nói chuyện mà ưa lên mặt thì xác định số mày đã tàn
Mấy thằng nhỏ bây giờ hiếu thắng có khi dám bán luôn cả mạng

Thằng Vũ nó có máu điên đập bất cứ thằng nào khiêu khích
Hằng đêm là đi cướp sỉ vì sau này lỡ chơi tiêm chích
Vì từ nhỏ không được dạy dỗ , từ kiến thức tới nữa chữ
Cuộc đời tụi nó chỉ thế , chỉ có cửa tù và cửa tử
