In 2008, J Savvy dropped his mixtape titled “Southrageous”. He has distributed over 7,000 hard copies to eager fans and generated more than 1,700 downloads on various music download sites. It was that success and support that inspired J Savvy to focus on his first EP titled “High On Life” due at the end of 2012. Both projects feature the musical genius of the twin brother producer duo The Psyclones.

J Savvy has just released his first single “EVERYWHERE” on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and Rhapsody among others.  It will be featured on his upcoming album “High On Life”,  currently in progress.  J Savvy is also working on an album with Virginia’s Khizman (of DMP) titled "Perfect Strangers".  The album earned the title when Khizman’s manager came across a copy of the Southrageous mixtape and called J Savvy to request a collaboration.  Khizman and J Savvy have been recording for the album separately and as of yet still have never met. You can hear Khizman on J Savvy's most recent mixtape "All Day Everyday" which dropped 4/20/12.

J Savvy’s talent has allowed him to grace the stage with Mos Def and Ace Hood, and has catapulted his recognition in the music industry by earning placements on internationally broadcasted television channels such as MTV’s G’s To Gents and True Life, NBC’s Bionic Woman, and independent film Suicide Dolls.  Whether it’s reminding his critics of his skills and street credibility through various lyrical battles, producing mixtapes for the masses, calibrating with various artists or constructing albums, J Savvy has proven time and time again that his gift of speech is also his gift to reach.
