Christmas Time Again

I recently went on an epic USA road trip and drove through the Nevada desert. I’d heard various rumours about Area 51 and was intrigued with the mystery of it all.

Back at home, there's an old quirky local town in Devon, England called Totnes that has a welcome sign that was altered to ‘The Historic Borough of Totnes - twinned with Area 51’ for a Joke. The local  news also reported a crop circle in a nearby field.

This was more than enough inspiration to write a song that reminds me of my great time in the Nevada desert and what kind of activities could be going on inside Area 51. It might not all be scary aliens and futuristic weapon testing. There's just as good a chance that it could be a hive of funky extraterrestrial activity.

I'd like to think that if a funky, hippie extraterrestrial being was to escape from Area 51, it would certainly find a nice home in its UK counterpart - Totnes.
