Monnom Black presents Umwelt's new studio album “Dead Eyes Society”, a stunning piece of work and the culmination of 30 years of artistic refinement. Umwelt is a truly rare underground electronic artist in the world of Techno and is without doubt one of the most important and prolific French electronic producers of a generation. A techno activist since the 90’s boasting over 50 releases to date. Throughout his career he has crafted a pure analog, unmistakable, signature sound, mixing dark, cinematic melancholy with the electro-techno grit he is so renowned for.

The sound of the album is influenced by late 90’s and early 00’s techno contrasted with an avant-garde approach to recording and sound design. Throughout the album Umwelt lays down beautiful grooves and his space techno melodies in uncompromising fashion, blended with classic synthwork and run through his famous analog outboard chains. With “Dead Eyes Society” Umwelt has crafted his most powerful techno album to date and solidified himself as an exceptional artist
and titanic figure of modern electronic music.

Wunderblock Records and La Notte Di Architetto label are proud to present a debut release of a new project, Urstadt, ruled by Michael Teplov of Wunderblock and Nikita Melnikov, also known as Relic Radiation. Been released on the Planet Rhythm label before, and now the duo appears in a pure new form with fresh techno material.

The EP is called “Ritornels Of Decay” and presents the Urstadt duo’s view on the state of the electronic music scene during the post-Covid times, through the prism of classic Detroit and Birmingham techno grooves. As a special VIP guest featured Adrian Sandoval, also known as Developer, with a hyperkinetic, ultra-minimalistic rework of the first track.

Overall, all the tracks of the EP are like polyrhythmic, slowly developing mechanospheres with a touch of cold-euphoric and dreamcore harmonies, fused altogether in a modern superhybridic way. For true techno believers.

_Born in the dynamic and restless district of San Salvario, in a northern town of Italy, Torino, J.Sintax absorbs the new wave of electro that invade the area at the end of the 90's. Attending the most engaged undergrounds clubs in town, such as The Plug, Bordello, Doctor Sax, J.Sintax begins to understand the potential of electronic music. Involved in a wide range of musical genres, J.Sintax starts to focus his interest in an eclectic conception of music, that begin with experimentation. Naturally born like an instrumentalist, preferring guitars, he research an innovative sound that shuffle with electronic music. The dream is to eventually combine analogic instruments with electronic experimentation, along with a strong dance floor setting. J.Sintax career started at the beginning of the century playing techno-minimal vinyls sets with his beloved Technics; then he direct his efforts toward producing tracks with Reason, Ableton Live, boss gt-5, guitar and Korg Emx. In Torino he plays in the squats underground area, such as Askatasuna, Bunker, Csa-Murazzi, in the cultural center for emerging art of Villa Capriglio and in many parties around town. He also sets up for a period with the postmetal band Kynesis, introducing electronic instrumentation.
The year 2010 marks strongly J.Sintax, adding oriental influences after more than one year of permanence in Istanbul, where he played at Beat Club and Papillon. J.Sintax is still seeking new contaminated sounds, bypassing techno, electronic, dark minimal, idm. His liveset of 2011, it' s a mix of old and new musical references: realized with Ableton, guitar and Korg Emx, has been released on the polish radio broadcast Afera, established in Poznan, during the Dj's Night show. In 2012 he became a Piemonte Groove Young Talent, playing in various big festival of the region such as Collisioni and Club to Club. After spending some months in Cambodia during 2013, where he played in some khmer and western clubs, such as LV and Blame Canada, he came back to Italy looking forward to new productions and new projects. Adding Phenol synthetizer to his gears, he moved to Canada, Montreal. Today, he started a new live concept in Berlin!

Partecipando ai maggiori club della città, come The Plug e Doctor Sax, comincia a lavorare con il potenziale della musica elettronica. Legato da sempre alla sua Fender, immerso in un ampio ventaglio di generi musicali, comincia a sperimentare ricercando un compendio tra i generi, pur rimanendo ancorato all’electro e alla techno. Aspirando a combinare l’analogico col digitale, J.Sintax comincia a produrre utilizzando la sua Korg EMX, Reason e Ableton. Ha cominciato a suonare nei luoghi più underground di Torino, come Askatasuna e Csa Murazzi. Dal 2010 si ritrova immerso nella cultura turca, dove viene influenzato dalle differenze sonore; ad Istanbul suona al Beat club, primo afterparty della città, e al Papillon. Inoltre presenta il suo live per il 2011 alla Dj’s Night su radio Afera, in Polonia, dove suona in varie locations. Nel 2012 entra in Piemonte Groove come Young Talent e suona in diversi grandi festival come Collisioni e Club to Club. Dopo vari mesi in Cambogia nel 2013, dove suona in alcuni rinomati club khmer e feste sulla spiaggia occidentali, fa ritorno in Italia producendo insieme ai NoizyKnobs. Dopo un anno in Canada attualmente si trova a Berlino per la creazione di uno nuovo concept!
