The early morning improvisations explored current moods and emotions within the structure of an improvisational piano piece with a beginning, middle and end. The musical structure of each improvised composition helped guide the initial expressions towards some kind of resolution by the end of the piece, often musically and spiritually calming. Volume 2 revisits this exercise one and a half years later. 

While recent series have focused on structure, composition, and various styles of tonality and expression to guide the improv process, "Morning Meditations Volume 2" has an overall mediative tone that leads to more reflective and relaxing (i.e. tonal) compositions. Peace!
