The air in Castletown was thick with anticipation. This wasn’t the usual pre-dinner conversation, or Chris’s relentless presence. This was… something else. A vibration in the air, a buzz that tickled the back of your neck.

“Something interesting is happening,” the ever-optimistic Ralsey said. “I can feel it! Maybe we’ll just find a way to seal the springs away forever!”

“Sure,” Susie laughed, leaning against the wall. “Maybe Noelle will throw out another ice cream.”

Chris was silent, their eyes fixed on an invisible point, as usual. But even they seemed more alert, snapping their fingers.

Suddenly, a blinding beam of light filled the room, followed by a deafening roar that shook the castle to its foundations. Everyone instinctively ducked, expecting an attack. But when the dust settled, it seemed no one had been physically hurt.

Except...

A single, elegant, black speaker sat in the center of the room, pulsing with an ominous blue light. An ethereal sound emanating from the speaker, resonating with the power of the dark world.

“Prepare... Soundtrack: BURNING EYES 2... Target Audience: Light and Dark People of Castletown. Prepare for... Condensation.”

Suze, never one to back down from a challenge, stepped forward. “Condensation? Come on, speaker!”

Then the music began to play.

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore CDIV, the Impossible/Dirty Hacker ending, details an ending in which a curious player messes with code to make a certain boss both dead and alive at the same time. The results are...illogical. Humans are to be treated as threats to the timeline above all else, and that is a crime punishable by death.
If you're curious on the AU name, all the Aftergores are numbered with Roman numerals. "CDIV" translates to "404."

Here's our Undyne role. It's none other than little ol' Flowey! Flowey the Flower! Like several other individuals relevant to the events of CDIV, Flowey knows that something fishy is going on with the timeline. Unlike some others, though, Flowey is pretty certain as to why. It's a little glitch in the system that needs...correcting. I sure wouldn't want to be the human that gets on that flower's bad side.
