Hi, my name is James York and I’m a New Yorker – born and raised.  I spent nearly 4 years living abroad in Estonia, where I became involved with voiceover acting.  I have a crisp, clean Northeast American accent and excellent foreign language pronunciation.  My voice has been featured in a wide range of projects including English audio tours of museums, startup and business explainer videos, corporate presentations and promotional videos, as well as English translations of foreign language DVD audio.

I’m also very honored to have narrated three of Estonia’s national animated explainer videos, which detail digital life and services in this highly connected country.  In addition to being featured in the news, these videos have also been used by both the Estonian Prime Minister and President when speaking abroad about the benefits of the country’s digital infrastructure.
