On the seventh day, they discovered something underground that looked like a giant clockwork. Shimmering in the dim light of a deep shaft, it seemed to be made of unknown materials. It looked like complex technology from a time long past. When Carly shined her flashlight on it, a small circular hatch opened, revealing a translucent sphere that began to rotate. Inside, flickering rays of faint light revealed scenes of an apparently long-lost civilization before the stunned team's eyes.
