We project our version of the world through the distortions of our consciousness polluted by delusion, greed and aversion - and so we suffer. Usually we blame the outside situation and other people for our problems, rather than accept our responsibility. However the good news is we can develop a peaceful and happy mind. In reality to know the nature of mind is our most precious discovery.

In our day-to-day life we are endlessly running and wondering why. Far from being an obstacle to our practice, everything we do in daily life with the right attitude can be used as our means for transformation. Applying the Six Perfections - generosity, ethics, patience, effort, meditation and wisdom - throughout the day, is a way to give meaning to our life.

Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo (born 1943) is a bhikṣuṇī in the Drukpa Lineage of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. She is an author, teacher and founder of the Dongyu Gatsal Ling Nunnery in Himachal Pradesh, India. She is best known for having spent twelve years living in a remote cave in the Himalayas, three of those years in strict meditation retreat.
