This was the start of Indian/asian/world electronica back in the days for me .This track was produced in 1997 taking a sample of Jagjit singh voice from the serial of Mirza asad ullah khan ghalib ,directed by Gulzar, Jagjit Singh's voice was an inspiration then and will be in future for all those who knew him as a singer,composer, activist and entrepreneur.

Karsh Kale - Turnpike (Gavin Hardkiss Remix)

This is a reinterpretation of  traditional Manganiar folk song and who better to do it with than Sawan Khan. 

Sawan khan shakes and stirs the soul with a captivating start to this composition and Clinton quietly makes space for himself alongside the Ustad and delivers what is easily the most powerful song of this episode. The coordination, music arrangement, lyrics, singing (and everything else makes the song awesome) are on target.

Big Up's to Clinton Cerejo for making such a beautiful track. I decided few weeks back to bring a  intense mix to this track using the brilliant Sawan Khan's vocals.
