I’m generally an REM fan and had seen them live back in the day when we were going to punk dives and garage band hangouts. But I don’t recognize the tune. However, I do love a fine rendition of a rock/pop song done as a folky/country tune. This is mesmerizingly enjoyable. This piece grew out of a little music I wrote for a video for the website of my sister, which is about yoga and personality building. The video shows a drone flight over the place, where she lives and works - a lake, trees, houses, nice weather.

"Don't Go Back to Rockville" is a song by the American rock band R.E.M. Delivered by the band's vocalist Michael Stipe and released as a single in 1984, as well as appearing on their second studio album, "Reckoning” the same year. My friends, me at 16, an other hardcore musician people loved the record

The song's title refers to Rockville, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C., and the lyrics convey a sense of longing, regret, and the desire to escape from a place and situation. Michael Stipe mentioned in interviews that the song was written by Mike Mills as a plea to a special friend at the time, asking them not to return to Rockville

R.E.M. was formed in Athens, Georgia, in the early 1980s and became one of the leading bands of the alternative rock scene. "Don't Go Back to Rockville" is one of their notable early tracks and remains a fan favorite

I am a frozen statue, watching seasons come and go, feeling changes, doing nothing, forever...
Last movement of the rock symphony, where I pay tribute to, and play, my mom's spanish guitar.
Main theme (bass E1-A1...E1-A1-E2...), appears all along the album, and also main themes of other 3 movements sound here as refrains (Vienen y van / Hora tras hora) which are thus sung over 4 different musics ;) E-Ruizzo project is finished, what's to come?... below translated lyrics.
