Hello there, friends of steady travelling!
I’m super excited to present you the next part of our everlasting detour, this time mixed by Nɨxe.
I met her last year on the grounds of a well known festival and we've had kind of a penpalship ever since. But she’s not only a kind and open-hearted person, she is also fantastic behind the decks
and enriched many events all over the globe with the distinct style of her dj-sets.

Watch out you non-swimmers! In this issue of our down.cast we will go to the diving station with the wonderful Nixe. In deeper waters we let ourselves be carried away by reduced melodies and epic sounds. Seamless transitions ensure a varied sound, which can’t do without one or the other driving and punching baseline. 

That's exactly what we like. Thank you @ju_nixe for this wonderful journey into your music library. With this set even the most water-shy dachshund becomes a deep-sea diver.

And that's how  mytripismytrip & Nixe got to know each other.
They isolated themselves in the small village of Troja to do what you do in enchanted places: music with depth and depth with music.
And lemon cake.
The master of the house brings keys and fresh linen.
He leaves a note on the kitchen table: "Please (don't) go into the shed!"
A well-meaning joke.
Because the rickety shack contains instruments with which you can knead the most beautiful melodies out of wood and electricity.

Für die Ewigwachgebliebenen zum Feierabendbier, für die Frühaufsteher als Seelenfutter zum Wochenbeginn: Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise. Alles erlaubt, was gut tut und Gedanken kreisen lässt, nur der Name ist Programm: cremig, fluffig und ganz schön weich.

Weißte, manchmal steh ich einfach am Wasser und blicke hinab. So weit wie man eben blicken kann. Nicht so richtig weit eigentlich. Stille Wasser sind tief, sagen dann manche. Ich glaube manche hören nur einfach nicht zu: @ju_nixe

Some schools of psychotherapy focus on becoming aware of emotions and naming them in order to understand our inner landscape, to be ultimately able to experience them more consciously and to help regulating them in healthy ways. If you want to practice this skill, Nɨxe’s set is a rich playground opportunities; full of wondrous sights and twists and turns. Through depth and highs, sometimes bold and in your face and sometimes tickling you from behind, it is a journey through different strata, contexts and epochs of slow, electronic dance music. However, while exploring the landscape, it never fails to keep an eye on the dance floor to get you heart jumping, your face smiling and your hips gyrating. If you want the full experience, set aside, what you’ve been doing, listen, turn up the volume a little and drop into yourself to feel those feelings. And don’t worry: nobody said you shouldn’t dance while doing so.

Sometimes I feel like I am having a small fog machine, creating warm and stunning felicity, in my chest. This machine was running at full blast this weekend, and it is still swirling, even though I‘m pretty tired. The fluid seems to be made of music, beautiful people and souls, sunshine and a lot of love.

I could barely see anything during my first Fusion Festival gig. I only remeber excessive fog, many lights and many dancing silhouettes through the wisps of fog. This is one of the most beautiful vaguely memories I have.

Here is a set from the depth of my heart an soul. It's different than the things I have been doing lately...maybe because it's from the other side of the world. I didn't mind if the tracks were new or old, I let my feelings lead me. I have processed all the wonderful experiences I was able to have during my stay in Mazunte. What can I say? 
Playing at the most beautiful stage of this years Fusion Festival, between two of my favorite acts, with 38°C, desert dust and lots of Cremant... I am super grateful for that experience! 
Thanks to all my friends that joined and supported me, to the lovely Seebühne Crew and thanks to everyone that danced in the desert heat and dust with me <3 What a journey!

Imagine a temple, hidden between the trees and lianas of a mystic but inviting forest... It's far beyond midnight, fog is playing around with lights in the darkness. People are slowly dancing with closed eyes and smiles on their faces. You can smell the scent of dust, pine resin and burning Palosanto woods... 
That's how I found the Archipel floor at Bucht der Träumer, the bay of dreamers. It was the best place and time I could wish for. Thank you for dancing and dreaming with me <3

Das ein Mix von Nɨxe bei mir etwas mit Wasser zu tun hat, is ja eigentlich klar. Den Termin für den Podcast haben wir schon vor gut einem halben/dreiviertel Jahr ausgemacht … da ich Nɨxe unbedingt in meiner Reihe wissen wollte. Nun war sie wie so viele andere gute Freunde auf dem kleinen feinen Sa Terza Metari Festival in Sardinien und hat dort ein überragendes Set für ein noch überragenderes Floor-Publikum gespielt … aber halt leider nicht den beliebten Record-Knopf gedrückt. Aber da ja der Podcast für Elektro Uwe in den Startlöchern stand … wurde der Moment nochmals nachgefühlt und mit etwas Abstand rekonstruiert. Ich sag nur so viel „MENO wieso war ich nicht dabei“ 🌊 🌊 🌊

Nɨxe … tausend Dank für die schöne Idee mit dem Sa Terza Metari Set … passt zu 100% genauso in meine Reihe. Und nun liebe Hörer spürt noch ein bisschen dem Sommer hinterher mit den Tönen von Nɨxe.

Wednesday, January 1st, 2020. Our new years celebration already went over it's peak, the first guests went to bed and the Cremant was already empty. But the hot tub was still hot and so were we. The live setup of @mytripismytrip was still on stage and suddenly there was this idea to try out a jam-session, their live music combined with my dj set. My first thought was that this would never work out, but we were in the right mood to give it a try. What followed was a two hours trip with lots of fun and a super nice flow.  Fortunately our friend Norma recorded the whole night, so here is what we did.
Since it's a first try it's not technically perfect. But it's perfectly free <3
