Front de Cadeaux was born in Bruxelles when roman Dj Hugo Sanchez met a Italo/Belgian guy called Dj Athome. The first touch was in the middle of a sauna party for big hairy men, hot and wet. Dirty sex and sweat dreams were just the click. They soon discovered that their music universe were created to become one. Both in love with the green psychedelia and both disappointed by the gay clubbing scene where people dance if only the bpm is at a very high and stupid speed level.

After having dirty sex, they spent days listening and sampling vinyls played at the wrong speed, discovering and enjoying the sexy power of the supreme “rallentamento”. Front de Cadeaux, a name that will leave Belgian’s fan of the band Front 242 astonished, confused and upset, started to create their own musical experiments that impressed Hugo Sanchez’s mate Rodion (his brother in the Alien Alien project), who put his poetic and supreme production touch on it.
Fabrizio Mammarella joined us after listening this manifesto called Le Pédé BPM. His energy was exactly what we needed to give you more acid.

We don't care of the BPM phags, we just want a world where the body and music makes love slowly all night long and we will fight a war to make it happen!

With bright chords, pumping rhythms, and gripping bass lines, the fast-rising talent Aldonna (@aldonna) emerges from Melbourne’s underground with her ‘Morph’ EP, including remixes from Alex Kassian (@alexkassian) and Marli (@marlimusicau), set for release via us, your favorite fuckin' label.

Having cut her teeth in Melbourne's lively community with her party series Re-Leaf and as a fixture on the Australian club circuit, Aldonna’s sound is clearly supercharged with dancefloor energy. And her passion hasn't gone unnoticed. Cosigns from the likes of BICEP, who tapped her to contribute to their acclaimed ‘Feel My Bicep’ mix series, prove she’s been an artist to watch for some time. Now with her debut EP, she introduces her own distinct sound which traverses seamlessly through nostalgic trance motifs and hyper ravey breaks. Aldonna is clearly making a push to be an unstoppable force in clubland.

The a-side concludes with 'For All That We Know' as a tight bass line sets the stage for Aldonna to build on her playful aesthetic with a shimmering and exuberant melody.

Meg Ward has spent years formulating a special relationship with underground culture in the North of the UK and was appointed one of BBC Music’s ‘Tips For 21’ in the North East.  Ward has carved her own distinct path through energetic sets tied beautifully together by love and passion; It’s on the dancefloor where her taste and musical schooling took place and that same schooling has fed into her dynamic, rich and jubilant productions.

Meg’s releases on labels NeedWant, Clipp.Art & a remix on Patrick Topping’s imprint Trick have been doing the business around the globe, and she now brings her radiant ‘Connections’ EP to important UK imprint Distant Horizons. 

The result is as a record which brings together the best elements of club and house, evoking a sense of freedom and expression through uplifting synths and body shaking bass lines. Opening track ‘Have Your Love’ makes full use of Kariya’s original vocal, a balanced mix of old and new culminating in a fresh and inspired club ready cut. Meg then turns her head to laden kick-drums and melancholy induced pads, their tension released by the introduction of coiling arps. The A side comes to a close with ‘Connections’ a functional, yet ethereal track that seems to be signaling to something more. 

The B side opens with ‘Rupture the Rhythm’ starting with breaks and sirens, acting as a signal calling all ravers to the dancefloor before the place erupts with the help of a 4/4 kick-drum and an active bassline. ‘TekHerGucci’ keeps the floor moving with laseresque synths and glossy vocals. ‘Cosmic Heat’ sees us out, the perfect end to a thrilling journey through the eyes of one of electronic music's most promising artists.

Strange Nacho guides his ultra-percussive tracks through a universe that he has built up over several years of performing in Lyon, France. Seeking for a happy melancholy and the evocation of good memories, he highlights an acid-tinged house atmo embellished with breakbeat and trancy sonorities.

PREMIERE: STRANGE NACHO - Ignored Warnings

For our last EP of the year, this great Chilean artist who loves analog machines brings us three tracks with different intentions and nuances, showing various facets of his musical production styles.
From downtempo, through minimal overtones, to acid sounds with a techno flavor, added to a great remix for the track by our friend from home, Dryclap.
