ntroducing the first release for Jack’s House Recordings (The Vocal Series), we are kicking off with an original vocal house track called My Body My Rules by Legit Trip featuring Starving Yet full aka Azari & lll the vocalist/song writer famously known for his collaboration with Jamie Jones on Hungry For The Power.

My Body My Rules most definitely will get stuck in your head, but for all the right reasons. The track has a 90’s flavour to it but is most certainly made for modern times and will most certainly have a long shelf life. It has influences of the yesteryear US Garage house along the way with a warm and infectious baseline to boot. Just 30 seconds into the track, the melodic keyboard stabs start to lead the way followed by the warm baseline and vocals. The lyrics have a strong but integral message sang beautifully by Starving Yet Full. Perfectly arranged in all the right places, it is also DJ friendly for mixing in and out. The release comes along with a deeper dub mix also produced by Legit Trip which shows his versatility in the world of production

It has been a long time coming for this release and we loved it so much it has been the catalyst for this new vocal series for the label. We hope you will love it as much as we do

Jack’s House Recordings welcomes back Legit Trip for his 6th quality release on the label with the 4 track (vinyl only) Deep Moan EP. His much sought after first (vinyl only) Answer EP back in 2016, sold out within a couple of weeks ! 

A1. Acid Babe jumps straight in with a solid padded kick and techy hats before building up into low acid sounds and fluctuates throughout the track with some cool vocal snippets occasionally thrown over the top. Two minutes in, the track falls into a 30 second breakdown and pumps straight back into it’s tech acid groove. Great energy on this one.

A.2. Otkuda has a more bouncy feel to it led mainly by the baseline accompanied by some long moody chords carried by crisp swinging hats and offers another entertaining but effective and cool drum roll, arranged perfectly for the dance floor.

Underyourskin Records‘s latest installment ‘Balkan‘ by Zone+ & Usif takes us to a region that has become more and more relevant – musically and literally. The EP‘s eponymous tune ‘Balkan‘ is a downtempo ride through the unseen and undiscovered territory paired with smoothering folk elements. Canson's version remains true to the original‘s downtempo vibe, but adding some hypnotic flavor that directly gains access to body and mind and therefore combines the best of two worlds: traditional influences with the soul and spirit of electronic music.
