THE SLIT OF THE CLOISTER

A black swift comes to visit me sometimes. It is a bird that barely walks because it spends months flying and their legs are very weak. When they accidentally enter through the window they need your help to take off. It is the fastest animal by far.

SWIFT

Eight years ago, a young vagabond walked the city where I live. I met him several times, and each one his health was worse. He was a schizophrenic and I thought he would die in the streets. I talked to the police and I went to a hospital, but he dissapeared. I was unemployed and I wrote a book about him and I in a fictional Scifi landscape.
Two years later I worked in that hospital and I met the vagabond again, now under treatment.
This song is a brief advance of what the book is about.

Diálogo espontáneo musicalizado con mi padre, fallecido el 8 de noviembre en Valencia. Posiblemente la canción que más me ha costado hacer.
