San Diego based DJ's / Producers Currents and Jesusdapnk make their Kultur debut, intermixing elements of Latin, Deep & Jackin House on their four track 'Havana 2 Paris' EP. The frequent collaborators tap in vocalist Marie Berson, who sprinkles her French touch on 'Parisian Nights', and enlist SF based DJ James Juke for his signature "hot take" of 'Havana 909'. Currents and Jesusdapnk have gathered physical support on past releases from industry heavyweights such as Sam Divine, Mark Farina, Jamie Jones, Blond:ish, Phil Weeks, Junior Sanchez, and Simone Dunmore to name a few.

My first big record on a well known and influential label. I gave the music to @Josh Wink and it took him one year to release it, which was pretty normal back in the day. 

“Menina Brasileira” came after I watched a wack movie with Penelope Cruz, ate something wrong and had a bad night’s sleep. The next day I went to the studio with the idea to produce a deep house track. Not a cliché deep house track, but to capture a deep house vibe in a non-deep house track. 

Just listen to the vocal on the flip, “Jacuzzi Games,” and you can imagine the scenario.

"Sound Error 2021" is a collection of tracks from my early days as a music producer. These songs were created with little knowledge of mixing and mastering, but they are full of raw creativity and experimentation. At the time, I was just exploring sounds, trying new ideas, and learning along the way. While they may not have the best production quality, they hold a special place in my journey. Today, I look back and appreciate them as an essential part of my evolution. This album is a tribute to my beginnings—a reminder that every artist starts somewhere.

Estas canciones fueron creadas con poco conocimiento de mezcla y masterización, pero están llenas de creatividad y experimentación pura. En ese momento, solo estaba explorando sonidos, probando nuevas ideas y aprendiendo en el proceso. Aunque puede que no tengan la mejor calidad de producción, ocupan un lugar especial en mi trayectoria. Hoy, las miro hacia atrás y las valoro como una parte esencial de mi evolución. Now lot of people don’t like Mondays and we think that’s fair enough; going back to work feeling a decade older after a heavy weekend spent making memories with friends can be a chore for even for the most optimistic of us as we trudge back in to the daily grind.  Luckily, help is at hand as we've secured Dominica's unreleased summer anthem 'Gotta Let You Go'.

Having caused quite a stir in clubs and festivals across the globe throughout warmer months, we had feared that the track wasn't going to get an official release despite the likes of Jackmaster and Skream championing the track in their sets.

Thus we were delighted to hear that it would finally be arriving via Altra Moda Music this November and quickly set about securing it for premiere. Rock solid grooves, pumping synths and rolling snares underpin catchy, redolent vocals for a sunshine soaked floor filler guaranteed to ward off those winter blues.
