Some things in life cannot be measured by numbers or translated into words. Having the privilege to officially remix a track by Hernan Cattaneo is one of them. Among this select group is the Brazilian producer and multi-instrumentalist BRVNOV, who has just delivered his own interpretation of Love Is Coming Back. The original track, released in February 2023 featuring the Egyptian-Canadian duo Husa & Zeyada, presented Zeyada’s hypnotic vocals — which were preserved and carefully repositioned in this new remix. The remix sets an intrinsically hypnotic mood from the start, guiding the listener through a sensitive and immersive journey. The break, wrapped in melodic pads, creates a moment of absolute trance and seems to suspend time before the drop, which is luminary and expansive. This is BRVNOV’s third release on DOC Records, consolidating not only his place in the label’s catalog but also the trust and respect of Gui Boratto. With impeccable technical polishing and a steadily growing creative signature, BRVNOV shows himself fully in tune with the Progressive House territory and ready to continue pushing its limits.

The Talking Heads has always been one of my favorite bands and Once in a Lifetime has been my favorite Talking Heads track. The groove of this tracks, the lyrics and the fantastic vocals of David Byrne, it's all just amazing. Since I also really love progressive house music, I have tried, respectfully, to bring these two worlds together in this unofficial remix. I really wanted to create that super special Talking Heads vibe on the dance floors of today. Enjoy!

Dissident mainstay Abstrakt.Digital returns to the label following his top 5 multi-genre release “Vox Aeterna” earlier this year! With Shadow, AD calls forth a darker driving progressive sound, summoning arcane forces and employing ancient hermetic principles to bring balance to dance floors everywhere; and enlisting two legendary remixers in the process. We’ve been excited for this release for some time, and we are happy to share it with you now.

The original mix is a straight up 4/4 progressive banger, a certified floor-mover worthy of the wizardry it calls to mind. Lush melodies intertwine themselves with mystic chants and driving beats to deliver a treat for progressive and melodic house lovers everywhere. Gai Barone takes things to an even deeper and darker place, while Noel Sanger turns in a belter of a dirty progressive breaks remix. Argentinian DJ and producer Juan Barrera has been making waves in the progressive house scene since his early beginnings in Córdoba. His journey as a DJ began in 2016, and since then, Juan has been captivating audiences with his dynamic sets that skilfully blend progressive, melodic, and deep house tones. Drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as Hernán Cattaneo, John Digweed, Sasha, and Nick Warren, the sound of Juan is defined by its grooved, melodic textures, seamlessly adapting to the energy of any venue.

In 2018, Juan took his passion for electronic music to the next level by diving into production. By February 2022, he marked his official debut with the release of his first EP on "We Are The Underground." The project featured the standout track "Greta," a collaborative effort with acclaimed DJ and producer Cesar Lombardi. The momentum continued in 2024 with the release of his "Griffin Door" EP, a collaboration with B.I.G (AR) on the esteemed label AH Digital. This release featured remixes by Leandro Murua and Andres Moris, with the latter receiving support from progressive house icon Guy J.

Throughout 2024, Juan trajectory soared as he expanded his catalog to include collaborations with B.I.G (AR) on respected labels Mango Alley and Univack. His presence on labels like AH Digital, Digital Emotions, Moussaieff Records, Balkan Connection South America, Future Avenue, 3erd Avenue, and D9 SA further solidifies his standing in the global progressive house community.

Juan talents have not gone unnoticed on the local circuit either. He has shared the stage with prominent Argentine DJs such as Matías Chilano, Ivan Aliaga, Christopher Erre, Agustin Pietrocola, and Marce del Boca, among others. His performance alongside international DJ Forty Cats, where he had the honour of warming up the booth, is a testament to his growing reputation.

Now based in Córdoba city, Juan continues to perform at clubs across the local scene, all while dedicating himself to creating fresh, innovative productions that push the boundaries of progressive house.
