The Metropolitan Soul Museum helmed Kulture Galerie returns with Volume 2 of its various artist focused release series. This new 5 tracks compilation showcases some of the finest Dutch and American sound, all brought together by London's own MSM.

Amongst the collection there is an original composition from lauded American artist and Delsin regular John Beltran (+ a special ambient version of said track available exclusively on Bandcamp), and more from Böhm (030303), US' best kept secret Tramic, De Lighting's' own Nathan Kofi & RDS and of course the label bosses Metropolitan Soul Museum themselves.

For this Hunter’s Moon in Aries Soria has cooked up something seductive. Equal parts deep, bumping and dreamy, moving through ambient, house and dub techno, Soria's mix is inspired by the main character from "A Spy in the House of Love" by Anais Nin. Here the protagonist bathes at night in moonlight as one would in the sun, cultivating a power from its rays which pulls in and frightens the other characters around her. A reminder of the strength we have when we allow ourselves access to our own sensuality.

We first met Masaka Masaka two years ago during a trip to Uganda, and were completely blown away by his set at Underground Kampala. His energy, creativity, and raw talent were unforgettable.

In this mix, Masaka blends techno with Ugandan local sounds in a way that feels fresh, bold, and deeply rooted. Expect a wild fusion of mangled samples, percussive grooves, jazz loops, chopped vocals, and basslines that move. It's a sonic journey full of skittering drums, silky ambiences, jungle breaks, dubby psychedelia, and even touches of shoegaze and spiritual choir.

Masaka Masaka is a Ugandan producer, DJ, and we’re honored to host his work on our platform.
