Returning from a short hiatus, Deersky’s Soundteller Records welcomes Radieux back to the label for a new single. With well over a decade’s worth of DJ experience, Slovenian born artist Radieux has been a fixture at some of the world’s premiere clubs and festivals, sharing the stage with John Digweed, Nick Warren, Solomun and more. Upon creating the Radieux alias in 2019, Artessa Music and Chrom Recordings served as initial landing spots for his melodic club-friendly sound. Fast forward to 2023 and the first six months of year have proved to be the most prolific of Radieux’s career, notching projects for Beat Boutique, Eat My Hat and Soundteller, the latter of which served as a home for his March offering ‘Here Comes The Storm’. Now, making a welcome return to the label, Radieux unveils his latest studio creation ‘Waterfalls and Us’, alongside remixes from Gai Barone and Kamilo Sanclemente & Mauro Aguirre.

Continuing to showcase his great dancefloor sensibilities, Radieux’s ‘Waterfalls and Us’ finds that perfect balance between groove and melody. A muscular low end serves as the foundation for bright percussive arrangements, evolving arps and a gorgeous piano-like lead which serves as a transition into the main break. Coming to full emotional fruition as the centrepiece evolves, melodies converge and textures emerge, perfectly setting up a flurry of drums and smooth key changing finale.

The remixes delivery nicely as well with one of the progressive scenes leading lights Gai Barone turning in another hugely memorable production. The Italian artist leaves something to the imagination here, opting for a dreamier approach which makes great use of texture and colour to create an evolving atmospheric storyboard atop punchy beats and buoyant percussive arrangements. Definitely one for the clued up progressive floors out there.

Rounding out the release with the final remix is Kamilo Sanclemente & Mauro Aguirre who continue to collaboration with great success. The Colombian duo aim squarely at a peak-hour dance floor with full grooves, rolling rhythms and a haunting harmonic topline which marries well with the electric lines below. Looking to keep energy high throughout, the main break is concise, serving to build tension quickly, before a final assault of supersonic synths caps off this epic offering from Soundteller in fine style. Highly recommended.

Ahead of the full Karol XVII & MB Valence remix album arriving later in the year, Get Physical Music is back with a second selection taken from it. Guy J and Compuphonic provide fresh new versions while the remixes from Jackspeare and Karol XVII & MB Valence are from the vaults.

Guy J has been at the forefront of the prog house scene for decades. The Lost & Found label head is a master of melody and shows that here with his take on 'Waterfall Drops.' It's a slow-burning gem with diffused pads and twinkling melodies that captivate the head as well as the heel. Compuphonic is Maxime Firket and someone who has an expansive sound and has produced several underground hits on labels like Exploited. His take on 'Sonus & Bang Bang' is brilliantly lush, harmonic and soft focus, with distant steel drums and shimmering melodies bringing sophisticated sound to the grooves.

Karol XVII & MB Valence's 'The Last Update Mix' of 'Waterfall Drops' is one with loose, jangling chords and drums. It's light and airy with a dubby low end full of warmth. Label regular Jackspeare closes out with a spine-tingling deep house rework with cute melodic hooks and sombre chords over a persuasive beat.

An artist with a diverse and storied relationship with the dance music scene, GMJ & Matter are proud to see Kasper Koman make his label debut with the twin-track "Sinking Sky / Biome". A veteran of more than a century of production credits dating back to a 2008 debut, Kasper Koman has seen his work signed to myriad high-profile labels including the likes of Plattenbank, Anjunadeep and Guy J's Lost & Found. From central Netherlands, Kasper has combined trademark emotion with a powerful and evocative sound that has seen his music supported by such leading tastemakers as Guy Mantzur, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J himself. Now debuting on Meanwhile, the "Sinking Sky" opener is characterised by a driving beat and metronomic hi-hat pattern. A running 16th note bassline pattern enters the fray in the second movement with a fizzing vibrancy provided by resonating and filtered effects. A cast of additional characters add to the overall sonic landscape including a beautifully juxtaposed pad progression. A spine-tingling breakdown provides acetylene-edged emotion via the extended bassline motif, before hitting its stride once more in the latter stages to wondrous effect and no small amount of production talent. "Biome" continues the narrative of raw effects-laden power, while a strong kick lays the foundation for a piercing percussive groove, adding swing to the off-beat. A well-crafted sonic palette supplies a soft chord progression of Kraftwerk-inspired imagination as a meandering array of well-placed effects, white-noise washes and rasping bass notes create a mosaic of sounds. The result is a hypnotic, angular offering that keeps listener interest piqued without a central melody seeing the 6-minute piece fly past in an instant. Camel Riders Records proudly unveils Si Pudiera, a richly textured four-track release by Antonio (AR), featuring collaborations with Lucero and Sorrentino. This collection is a deep dive into organic sound design, rhythmic storytelling, and cultural resonance. Opening with “Manglarand,” crafted by Lucero and Antonio (AR), the track draws inspiration from the mangrove — a tangled meeting point of land and sea, pulsing with quiet tension. “Kusimama,” a collaboration between Antonio and Sorrentino, channels the spirit of resilience, its Swahili title meaning “to stand” — a grounded, unshaken presence in sound. The duo returns on “Funi Mali,” blending Swahili and Arabic influences to express “joy and abundance,” delivering vibrant movement and emotional color. Closing the release is the title track, “Si Pudiera,” a solo piece by Antonio (AR) that offers a gentle, introspective moment — a meditation on possibility, limitation, and the spaces just beyond reach. This release contains a radio edit aswell as a remix from Guy J, well known producer with releases on Bedrock Records and some famous Belgium re-mixers such as Keatch (Dim Mak and Boysnoize Rec), Grimelock (Stainage Records) and Dutch producers Koper & Tin from Triplefire Music. Each applying their distinctive trade mark sound with quartz accuracy.
