Manchester duo MINDLESS. are wasting no time. Just months after launching the project, they’ve landed on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax with their second release, the ‘Turn It Up’ EP. That’s right, the pair are levelling up fast, and we’ve got the premiere of MINDLESS.’s ‘Taste It’ right here.

Formed by Harry Carvell and Kieran Dearden, the UK duo have gone from after-work jam sessions to catching the ear of one of the most influential names in house. Now they’re stepping into the Hottrax catalogue, a space reserved for records that push the floor into overdrive.

The title track ‘Turn It Up’ is all about crisp drums, a snaking bassline, and a hypnotic groove that just keeps rolling. But it’s MINDLESS.’s ‘Taste It’ that flips the switch, locking you into darker textures and low-end pressure built for sweaty basement moments and 4am rooftops. Born In NYC and was given the best gift ever. The Power of Music. Grew up in Union City Nj. Which was 5 min ride to NYC. During the 80's we had the best Music. I was given the blessing of listening to House, Salsa, Freestyle,Hip Hop, High Energy,Disco.I was Lucky enough to learn how to Dj with classmates and some friends. I had many different opportunities to also learn from some great Dj's from Little louie Vega, Kenny Dope Gonzalez, Red Alert, Eric Morillo, & Tony Humphries who i worked for under The Record Label Yellorange Records. Then of course was the clubs, 1018, Red Zones, Mars, The World,The Loft,The Palladium,The Underground so many to name. I also lived in Germany for 5 years playing anywhere and to any who was willing to listen. I always try to play music a different way and put my own spin on some tracks.
