Entitled "Afetos" (Affections), this electroacoustic piece aims to extract musical poetry from everyday sounds related to the activity of cooking, which in itself is an activity of great affection, especially when it's from mother to child, and in fact the person who is cooking at the time of the recording is my mother. That's why I add extracts from a composition of mine called "Manhã" (Morning), which is a song whose extract played in the piece says "é de manhã maínha" (it's morning maínha). The term "maínha" is an affective way of saying the word mother. This piece is a way of showing the audience the musical possibilities that exist in everyday sounds.
