The Working Elite are Berlin-based spark plugs Thomas “Saap” Sabrowsky, of Extra Producktion, Terre des Pommes, ex-marine soldier, seasoned cook and barkeeper; and Daniel "D´LonelyAl" Nentwig, who co-directs Extra Produktionen, plays keyboard and electric bass for various outfits, and engineers at Berlin’s Butterama Recording Center. Suffice it to say, the pair have named their collaborative project suitably. The Working Elite create recreational music for dancers to shimmer through the days and nights of balmy season.


Following a killer acid-piano house 12” and contributing a Test Pressing-certified new-disco chug to a split release with Tuff City Kids (both) on Terre des Pommes in 2014, The Working Elite further refine their ability to soundtrack festivities with Rockman / Born Again. “Rockman” conveys an understatedly cinematic mood with repeated imitation string cycles over crisp electro foundations.

"Men Mix Mentrix" is a collection of Hand-Picked remixes by some of her favourite producers and leading lights from the more avant-garde side of the glitterball....Abu Ama, the reclusive legendary producer from Germany who resurrects a linear, industrial broken soundscape full of rave nostalgia and brutality in equal measure, and Local Suicide, Berlin’s current electronic darlings of dark-wave, who preserve the hypnotic electronic heart and layer the experience with the soundtrack to your night crawling in Europe’s most vibrant after-dark arena. Deadbeat, stalwart DJ of the Berlin scene, puts his hypnotic dub on “Nature”- a deep dance floor cut riveted by the vocal reels he effortlessly chains to a heavy minimal entrancing beat. The ultimate bewitching surprise is the contribution of Spooky of Nihiloxica brought to us by no other than Nyege Nyege Tapes all the way from Uganda. His “Nature” remix has the slow spaced out sound that possesses an uplifting darkness, and his Loyalty remix opens the EP with such a deep and original club aesthetic that one can’t help but to recognise a child of Bristol. ... finally, newcomer Pahlaven Seda (meaning Champion Sound in Farsi) strips out the original back to it's bare essentials for a crypto acid roller.....
